Trust in someone can be easily given and taken away. Whether personally or professionally, when trust is earned, it’s that much stronger. With photography, no matter what style, if you don’t trust the photographer to capture you in a way that reflects who you are and how you want to be represented, the experience can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

When you find that right photographer, though, a session becomes so much more than just a shoot; it’s an experience unlike any other. This is especially true for the art of boudoir.

Miss E was referred to us through a mutual friend and trusted the recommendation enough to book her session. As a soon-to-be bride, she wanted to do something special to commemorate this time in her life. Her reasoning? She wanted to feel comfortable and special. We love giving each of our clients a truly individualized experience, from the wardrobe to the makeup to the shoot itself.

Just as every person is unique, so should their session.

As a woman who was confident in showing off her amazing legs and décolletage, Miss E shied away from showing off her belly and back. She shared with us that she loved the amount of communication and direction we offered during the shoot, and that the video component that we added was the perfect touch.

As the shoot progressed, we had an inkling that Miss E may have done a boudoir session in the past, as her confidence and excitement was immediate and inspiring. When asked about the emotions the shoot was bringing up for her, she said, “I’m excited to be a bride!” It’s positive emotions like this that really bring out an inner confidence and comfort level.

It was time to wrap up the experience, and we really wanted to know what she thought of it. “It’s a NEED,” she said. “We all should do this for ourselves.”

We couldn’t agree more. We love the thought of showing every woman that gets in front of our lens just how beautiful and amazing she is, to bring forth what’s already inside her and share it with the world.

Miss E left her boudoir session with confidence and exuberance to not only have this experience and the reminders in the photos and video that show the beauty that radiates off her, but also with the excitement that she’s now one step closer to her wedding and the next chapter of her life.
